Vaccines marked "publicly funded" are free for eligible Albertans; our pharmacist confirms your eligibility at your visit. Shingles, HPV, hepatitis A and B, typhoid and travel vaccines are private: you pay at the pharmacy after your assessment, and many private health plans reimburse them. Nothing is paid online. Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are seasonal: online booking opens in early October and closes at the end of April. Children under 5 (flu) or under 12 (COVID-19) can be vaccinated through Alberta Health Services public health clinics.
